My heart is heavy.
So. very. heavy.

The journey we travel has many paths.
I suppose mine keeps taking the ones I never thought it would have taken.
Through the hurt and tears, I can hear the small voice of Jesus calling me.

He says. "I love you , my precious daughter. Please run to me. Please. I'm waiting."
That love, HIS love, is so overwhelming that quiet tears always fall when I least expect them.
He reminds me that though I am imperfect and flawed, that I am worthy of HIS love and grace.
Little ole me.

"I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." - Ephesians 4:1-2

I pray that this rocky journey I have been on, this season in my life, will soon pass.
Your sweet prayers would be greatly appreciated, dear friends.

I am wishing you all the happiest Monday.
If I am absent a bit over the weeks to come, please don't worry.
For, "this too shall pass....".

much love.

(While writing this post, I listened to KellyAnn's music monday
I hope you get the chance to do the same.)

  1. Praise God for your faith, sister. xoxo

  2. I'm praying for you. Whatever it is, our God is greater. Love to you!

  3. what grace there is in the fact that in the midst of this trial, you are able to remember those sweet truths.

this has really encouraged my heart over the past year. praying it does the same for you, sweet friend:

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, gour inner self his being renewed day by day. For ithis light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

  4. I just came across your blog and I wanted to say that you are not alone. I have that bit about being worthy of our calling taped to the window over my kitchen sink and I've prayed it many times through tears and the steam of dish washing - and God has been SO FAITHFUL to answer. He knows our hearts and how much we love and want to do right. His love truly does endures forever. Just this week, as we mourned the death of the second family member in a month, I was thanking God for His presence. I'm praying that He show you His presence in a very personal way :)
