Sunshine & Rain.
2/29/2012
Do you see how bright and lovely the sunshine is coming through my bedroom?
I am in a no-sleeve shirt, people.
Last week we had days in the 70's.
There needs to be an AMEN for that folks!
However, as I sit here (obviously awake when I should be sleeping) there is a storm brewing outside my window.
I tend to enjoy storms, though.
I sleep the best when it is raining hard and the wind is blowing like crazy.
I know, I know. I'm weird.
Anyways, I have been away from the computer and especially blogging the past few days.
I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things this week!
I have lots to share with the hiking adventure that Nathan & I took, the Harlem gospel choir singing (and dancing) for the glory of God, & a few things I've had on my heart to share!
PS. I am so tired of my short hair. I can not express that enough. :/
Everyone should pray that my hair starts growing ... FASTER!! ;)
Please & thank you.
much love, friends!
Out on a rainy day.

Aw. Yesterday was lovely.
Plain & simple, folks!
My Friday was filled with rain, coffee, tropical smoothie, laughs, target, dresses, a movie, candy, bathroom breaks, Chipotle, siblings, funny stories, silly photos, pain, and a cute little addition. :)

I just realized that I didn't take any photos of coffee yesterday.
Now that is a real shame! ;)
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL weekend!
I believe another visit to the theater is penciled in this afternoon.
Until next time...
much love!
Converse + Rain + Movie

I slept horribly last night.
Which was such a shame since the night before I had a full 8 hours of sleep.
It was kinda magically.
Really. :)
Today was a bit rainy & gloomy.
Mom, the girls, and I went out to eat pizza for lunch this afternoon.
Then stopped to do some last minute holiday shopping!
I was so exhausted, but had a lot of fun.
Afterwards, I took a nap for a bit.
I had a job interview @ 5:30 this evening.
It was a strange time for an interview, but yeah.
I was extremely nervous.
It didn't help that there were FIVE people in the interview asking me questions.
So nerve racking!!
Fingers crossed for this job, though.
Full-time, off every weekend, benefits after 90 days, and no one-on-one patient interaction!
:)
When I was finally done with my interview, I drove home to meet up with mom and libs.
We had decided early to go to the theater to watch Sherlock Holmes, but at the last minute we changed it to New Year's Eve.
I was happy to see either one.
I'm really glad we ended up watching New Year's Eve, though.
Most people think those type of movies (like Valentine's Day) are awful.
& to be honest ... they aren't the BEST movies, but I love them!
This movie had an amazing cast + New York City + funny + endearing = New Year's Eve!
It was kinda more than perfect for me. :)
Hope you had a wonderful Tuesday!
much love, colie.
ps. the out takes that run during the credits are HILARIOUS!! :) truly.
